Winners of first prize in the Horrible and Trades parade for Old Home Week August 23 -28, 1908, were Walter King and his young son, Louis. The King's white wagon carried a black cow and dairying equipment demonstrating the dairying industry of the Head. First prize was $5.00. Note the patriotic decor of the wagon.
