083-500.jpg

Handy Hill. Handy Hill carries the name of Dr. Handy who lived at the crossroads of Hixbridge and Drift Roads. The extremely steep grade of Handy Hill was cut down and the roadway was widened when Route 88 was built in the 1950s. Birds are probably gulls looking for lunch!
