Shipwreck at Horseneck Beach. Sun and surf, bathing and boating -- leisure pleasures at Horseneck Beach. Fog, wind, and shifting shoals, however, often spelled disaster for shipping which moved on the coastal highway off Horseneck Beach into Westport's harbor and rivers.
