The Wise Cottage. The Wise Cottage was located in the dunes on Horseneck Beach at the end of Bridge Street (see 1895 map of Westport). To reach the beach, visitors would travel by horse and buggy down Main Road through Westport Point, across Westport Bridge, along Bridge Street past Miss Wise's cottage and onto the beach.
