The Music of “Ragtime” Jack Radcliffe

Thursday, January 18th, 2007
7: 30 PM at the Bell Schoolhouse,
25 Drift Road, Head of Westport

Please join us for a unique musical experience that recalls the days of traditional country blues, ragtime and stride piano. Through stories, whimsical anecdotes and trivia woven into his performance, Jack Radcliffe brings the ragtime era to life and celebrates the legacy of once well known household names such as Scott Joplin, Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong.

Jack Radcliffe has been performing since the late 1950’s and is a master of one of the most difficult piano styles ever created. As a composer he has contributed dozens of pieces to the ragtime repertoire and country blues tradition.

Seating is limited! We encourage you to make advance reservations. Admission is free, but donations will be gladly accepted. Refreshments will be provided. Please call 508-636-6011 for reservations so that we can plan accordingly.
