The Westport Historical Society is proud to present "Images of Westport: The Al Lees Collection of Photographs ca. 1905" as a visual continuation to the "Westport History in Fact and Fiction" program offered in July 2003. Selected images from Mr. Lees' collection displaying a visual history of Westport as discussed by the July panel can be viewed as it was seen and recorded by photographer O. E. DuBois of Fall River, MA.

Mr. Lees' family has resided in Westport for four generations, prominently contributing to the fabric of Westport's social, political, and economic history. Mr. Lees' photographic collection has captured Westport, the places and the people, as this history was created, and represents four decades of collecting.

Bids will be accepted through silent auction on selected photographs, which is a fine opportunity to own a piece of Westport nostalgia.

There is no admissions fee, contibutions are always welcome. Arrangements for group visits can be made by calling 508-636-6011 0r 508-636-6958.
