“The Architecture of Westport Point”
Thursday, August 16th 2007
7:30 PM at Lees Market Community Room
796 Main Road
Please join us for a presentation examining the unique architecture of Westport Point. Jim Collins will focus on how the individual buildings at the Point represent classic examples of a wide range of differing historical styles. Some buildings represent the transition from one architectural style to another, others have additions that mutate buildings from one architectural style to another. Jim will also discuss the broader organization of the village itself to demonstrate the unique spatial significance of the Point.
James Collins Jr. is the President of Payette, a nationally recognized architectural firm in Boston. As a practicing architect he designs research environments in campus settings.
